Nothing Forgotten researches products based on how well they fit the real-life situation they are meant to solve.
For hurricane supplies, we prioritize products that are simple, reliable, and useful during extended power outages. Where practical, we prefer products that can be USB recharged when power is available and also use standard AA batteries as a backup.
Sometimes an exceptional product may not fit that preferred power system. If its performance, durability, reviews, or other benefits make it worth considering, we may still include it and clearly explain the tradeoff.
We select our Picks before pursuing any discount, affiliate relationship, or partnership with the company.
After a product is selected, we may contact the manufacturer or retailer to negotiate special pricing, discounts, or other benefits for Nothing Forgotten users.
Companies do not earn a Nothing Forgotten Pick by paying us or offering a discount. We choose the product first — then we work on your behalf to try to get you a better deal.
Nothing Forgotten may earn a commission from qualifying purchases when affiliate links are used. This does not change how products are selected.
